Super Puff Bread, recipe from my grandfather, a retired chef! These flat breads are known for their visible buttery and flaky layers that lends a wonderful crispy texture to them. These are so delicious with crispy edges, flaky layers that are also soft. It is one of the very popular bread recipes that goes well with all sorts of fillings.

Ingredients:
300 ml warm milk (1 1/5 cups)
1 egg
1 tsp salt
540 g flour (3 1/3 cups)
100 g butter (1/2 cup)

How to cook:
Add 300 ml warm milk (1 1/5 cups).
Add 1 egg.
Add 1 tsp salt and stir.
Sift 540 grams of flour (3 1/3 cups).
Make a well in the flour and add the liquid.
Stir with a spoon.
Knead the dough by hand for 2 minutes.
If the dough is very sticky to your hands, add 30 grams of flour (1/5 cup).
The dough is not sticky and smooth.
Cover the dough for 10 minutes.
Melt 100 grams of butter (1/2 cup).
Divide the dough into 8 parts.
Make balls from all parts of the dough.
Those flaky, buttery crispy layers are totally worth the time though.
Cover dough with kitchen towel while cooking.
Roll out the dough thinly into an oval shape.
Roll out another piece of dough.
It just tales some time to pleat the dough multiple times to get layers.
Brush the dough with melted butter.
Place the rolled out piece of dough on top of the other.
Brush with melted butter once again.
Cut the dough into 4 equal strips.
Roll the strips into a roll.
Slightly press the dough with your hands.
Put the prepared dough in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Cold dough will be easier to roll out.
Roll out flat bread with a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm).
For visible flaky layers, keep these flatbreads a bit thick.
If you roll them very thin, the layers will not be visible or flakier.
Brush one side with melted butter.
Cook them in medium heat until the layers separate and crispy.
This is to make sure there are no uncooked dough beneath the layers.
Brush the other side with unsalted butter.
Flip to the other side and cook until golden brown.
Prepare the rest of the dough in the same way.
It will be cheap and quick bread for breakfast!
