David Lee Roth - Ladies' Nite in Buffalo (Cover)

This awesome and super fabulous David Lee Roth tune got stuck in my head real bad a couple of days ago so I had to learn and cover it. That Steve Vai solo alone was so cool I knew I had to learn it eventually. I found a pretty good backing track online, plugged into my Line6 Pod HD500 and so, here’s my cover of Ladies’ Nite in Buffalo, enjoy!

I’m looking for a singer who wants to record vocals for this so hit me up if you wanna give it a shot!

Ibanez RG350M w/ Dimarzio Paf Pro pickups
Line6 Pod HD500, cab disabled
Catharsis impulses
Logic Pro X

Here’s a link to the Pod patches I used to record this cover, I included the impulses as well as versions with the Pod cabs. These tones are meant to run in stereo as they are but you can disable the stereo effect by removing the delay in the signal chain. When I recorded the guitar I added EQ in Logic, nothing fancy, just a hipass and lopass. Hope you enjoy the tones, tweak them to your liking and rock out!
