1. Daily Detox Habits
Morning Warm Water: Drink a glass of warm water slowly (sip by sip) immediately after waking up to relieve constipation [00:46].
Nighttime Warm Water: Drink another glass before bed to support digestion and cleansing overnight [02:43].
Movement: If you cannot walk outside, perform "Spot Marching" at home. Move your arms and legs vigorously in place as if marching [06:48], [07:13].
Gut Health: Maintain "Good Bacteria" by drinking a glass of buttermilk daily or ending your meal with a small portion of curd rice [05:57], [06:05].
2. Weekly Detox (The One-Day Cleanse)
Fasting: This is considered the best way to detox. For one full day a week, consume only "living foods" like raw fruits, vegetables, and fresh juices [03:02], [03:22].
Why it works: Fasting gives your digestive system a rest and allows the body to focus on repair and waste removal (autophagy). It can even help clear inflammatory or cancerous cells [03:54], [04:16].
Enema: Perform a weekly self-enema to cleanse the colon (often called the "second brain"). This helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression linked to poor gut health [05:03], [05:31].
3. Specialized Detox Techniques
Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing): Helps balance the body's energy channels and detoxifies the nervous system.
Method: Close the right nostril with the thumb, inhale through the left. Close the left, exhale through the right. Inhale right, exhale left. Repeat 10 times morning and evening [07:33], [08:11].
Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Helps move lymph (the body's waste-clearing fluid).
