小尾修「恐ろしさと美しさ、力強さを描きたい」11の質問【写実絵画】

色をテーマに構成した、写実絵画・企画展
「いろいろ 色の魔法　色から見える写実」開催

本企画展の開催へ向け、作家・ 小尾修さんのアトリエへお伺いしました。
個展や海外でのワークショップなど、国内外で広く活躍され
美術大学の教授も務められている小尾さん。

自然の恐ろしさと美しさを描いたという「咆哮」制作のきっかけ、タイトルの由来や
「止まり木」「HITOMI」「静寂の声」の制作背景、
ヨーロッパを訪れて気づいたオイルスケッチの魅力、油彩の長所、
意外な制作BGM、光にこだわったアトリエなど。
作品とご本人に迫る質問に丁寧にお答えいただきました。

Osamu Obi 11 questions with Osamu Obi "Want to draw fear and beauty, strength" [Realist Painting]

Structured with a concept and theme on Colors, realist painting exhibition is now open "Iroiro magic of colors - realism you can find by colors"

Due to the opening of this exhibition, we were able to visit an artist Osamu Obi at his studio.
He has done private exhibitions and workshops in and outside the country and is also a professor at college of the arts.

The reason why he started drawing "Houkou" (Roar) and the reason why he titled the artwork. He said he drew the fear of nature and the beauty of it.
Also stories behind the scenes of "Tomarigi" (Perch), "HITOMI", "Seijyaku no koe" (Voice of the Silence). What he noticed about oil sketches when he went to Europe and the benefits of oil painting. Unexpected music he listens to when working on his paintings, also about his studios and lights coming in there.
We were able to hear many things about his artwork and also about himself.
