Wabi-Kusa style terrarium in a cloche with aquatic plants

This was another fun project for me considering the fact that this is terrarium built with aquatic plants in a Wabi-Kusa style. This scape is inspired from a riverside scene in a forest created with stones, moss, plants and driftwood.

Wabi-Kusa is a Japanese art/method of growing aquatic plants in their emersed form on a ball of substrate. This was made popular by Japanese aquascaping legend Takashi Amano and his company ADA.

I have used a cloche for the first time and I really like these type of containers now. Scaping is so much fun in a the cloche dish and the bell shaped cover will trap humidly and moisture providing the plants with an ideal condition for growth. The cloche cover can be removed as and when needed for releasing excess moisture or simply for displaying the scape.
I am thinking of using cloches for some more projects in the future.

Soil/substrate used - Aquasoil and sand
Hardscape used - Seiryu stones and a small twig
Plants used - Flame moss, Staurogyne Repens and Hydrocotyle Tripartita mini
