Bowl from a Board

I wanted to try and make a bowl from a board that had a little flair to it. I've used this technique to make a bowl in the past but it was from a solid piece of wood. For this project I glued up some scrap into a board. I was inspired by a chapter in Jim Rogers' book "The Fundamentals of Segmented Wood Turning". Jim goes over most of what's in the book on his Craftsy video. I'll put a link below. If you already know how to make a bowl from a board then this video probably won't tell you anything new.
