LEECH - Live at Burial Grounds - Salem, Cascadia Sept 18 2010

Описание к видео LEECH - Live at Burial Grounds - Salem, Cascadia Sept 18 2010

Captured by A.C-T. of the defunct Pesanta Urfolk, this footage documents the final live show of the Salem, Oregon black metal band Leech. Originating in 2004 as a mixture of blackened thrash and eco-crust, Leech pushed further into the mists over the years through a series of obscure split vinyl releases and increasingly lo-fi demos in pursuit of a sound/concept described as True Cascadian Grey Metal, eventually disintegrating just as the rest of the burgeoning Cascadian Black Metal movement exploded. As far as I know, this is the highest quality footage remaining of this band, and the only known footage of them performing material from the "Against Leviathan!" demo in addition to songs from their never-released full length; I hope you enjoy this archival glance into the final days of this unknown, but not unimportant band.

Set list:
00:00 At Once, Our Home Was Overcome by a Roar Which Tore Through Our Hearts, Silencing the Wind and the Quiet Songs of the Birds; We Realised What We Had Lost, and Began to Call to Her

13:13 True History of Mankind

21:41 To the End of Days

This show was on the first anniversary of Joris Brinkerhoff's death, who was the bassist/vocalist of the even more obscure Salem drone/funeral/sludge band münn. RIP
