Santa Ana Lowrider Cruise Night 01/27/2024 Alaniz Beatz

After the car show in Torrance came the Santa Ana lowrider cruise night on Main St! While initially there was confusion due to last minute changes in regards to location/vendor/police issues, all was ironed out and the cruising went on out on Main St. So from my understanding, there wasn't any problems with cruising itself. The problem was that the city/police (from what I was told) did not want any vendors at this event. There also was an issue with having a live Dj playing music as about 10-15 officers came and made the Dj take down his set up. I don't believe that was necessary but it is what it is.

After all this, the cruising went on as low lows were on Main St. as well in the parking lot where many pulled into to chill and kick back. So while here I was able to get y'all footage of the cruisers, the rides in the lot, lot's of familiar faces from out here in O*C. As the night went on and the cruising slowed down, the hoppers went at it. Way 2 Real car club and, my bad for this one, but I wasn't sure who the other hopper was. Both put on a great show for the crowd until the police decided to stop things and threaten to have cars towed.

It was a great night after all the confusion/intimidation by law enforcement, which by the way, I am all for them being present to keep the peace. But if it's for intimidating the crowd then I hope things can be worked out somehow! Thanks for watching!
