Hello everyone, Today's recipe is South Indian breakfast recipe and also my MOM'S favorite breakfast. she grown up eating this. Her grandma used to make this rice upma often for dinner or breakfast. she used to tell me lot of stories behind this upma so i just wanted to try this upma and i came out well so here i am sharing my GRANDMOTHER'S recipe "ARISI UPMA OR ARISI UPPUMA".Mostly upma is made with semolina but we will be using normal rice or you can use raw rice. We can make this recipe VERY QUICK. So it will will be useful for working womens and bachelors who is tired of hotel food can try this easy and quick recipe. So do try this yummy recipe and give me your experience in the comments section.
Notes :
1.Make sure you are pulsing the rice mix and it should be coarse.
2.Stirring immediately after adding the rice to boiling mix is very important for avoiding lumps.
3.Always cook the rice in medium low heat.
4.you can add any vegetable of your choice.
