Hello, and welcome on another stomp!

I am in Derbyshire, visiting Cromford, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.

I'll be walking a short section of the 1794 Cromford Canal, from Aquaduct Cottage, where Florence Nightingale's great uncle Peter, once had his own personal arm that serviced his factories.

I'll walk over the Derwent Aquaduct, past Leawood Pumphouse, High Peak Junction, before reaching Cromford Wharf, and the infamous Richard Arkwright Cromford Mills.

Join me as we explore some beautiful countryside, incredible engineering, and historical stories.
