Hunting GARNETS at RUBY Reservoir: Finding TREASURE in western Montana

Great garnet! Kate, Jim and Kava try their hands (paws?) at screening for garnets at Montana's Ruby Reservoir and on the gravel road that leads from the reservoir to Dillon, Mt. The first-time gem hunters have varying levels of success, partly because they're not totally sure what they're doing - but the grandeur of the Montana countryside makes it worth the trip. Spoiler alert - they do find garnets. :D
