413. 'Up North' Narrowboating on the Lancaster Canal - Part One

Описание к видео 413. 'Up North' Narrowboating on the Lancaster Canal - Part One

For my 70th birthday, Sally surprised and delighted me by arranging a week's narrowboat hire on the Lancaster Canal, the most northerly navigation in England. In this episode, we collect the boat from Barton Grange Marina, stow our belongings away and set off on our adventure.

The 'Lanky' as it is fondly known, is not connected to the main canal network but between April and September can be accessed via the 'Ribble Link', which opened in 2002.
