'59 Gillette Fatboy vs. Merkur Futur: A Battle of the Adjustables

DISCLAIMER: Guys, I am fully aware that this comparison was ill-fated. You just can't compare two different adjustables, made by different manufacturers, based on setting alone. I didn't do an analysis of blade exposure, etc. Just having some fun here and showing folks a comparison of the two razors.

During my first video, where I review a 1959 Gillette Fatboy, I stated that setting #5 on the Fatboy is more aggressive than the same setting on the Merkur Futur. This statement confounded many a BiG Shaver, each of whom insisted that I must be mistaken. In this video I compare the Fatboy to the Futur, shaving half my face with each. Same setting, same blade type (on their first use), same shaving products ... just the different razors. Was I right, or will I eat crow? Watch to find out ...
