What I have learned in the few years that I have been designing and promoting Red Disc Seal.

Not all tub spouts are mounted the same way. Some are slip-on and some are screwed on to the tub spout pipe. Some are copper and others are Steel or Brass. Even though, they are all referred to as 1/2" pipe, don't be fooled, not all have the same size outside diameter (O.D.). See the examples below.

Red Disc Seal is a rear seal for bath tub spouts. It comes in three different versions:
RDS-C- Used with 1/2" Copper Pipe (Pipe OD is 5/8"), Slip-on Version
RDS-CS-Used with 1/2" Copper Pipe With Fitting at the End, Split Version
RDS-G- Used with 1/2" galvanized steel or brass pipe (Pipe OD is 7/8")
