A day at 622 Sqn VGS - RAF Upavon. Many thanks for them letting me take my GoPro up & getting some ground snaps with a Canon 40D.

First, a shot of another glider taking of, pulled by winch and not towed, we are next. We get up and have a launch faliure, we have enough height to continue (approx. 1200ft). It clips in and out showing Soaring, Yaw, Roll and Pitch maneuvers.

Later we progress to doing Stalls, in what 622 call "GIC FUN" (Gliding Induction Course, Fun.) As I have been to 622 4 previous times and have completed the first 3 GICs I moved onto an extra, which includes stalls and general fun stuff.
