In this video, I will go over the exact drills that you need to test with a stopwatch to see how much you are increasing your speed each week. These speed training tests have been done by thousands of athletes across the world and will give you your benchmark on how fast you are.

Now each of these exercises will be done within 10 seconds. You will see how many times your dominant foot crosses the line within 10 seconds.

Quick Feet Lateral - 10 Seconds

How To Perform: Start with your feet on the left side of a line. Keeping your feet together, hop over the line and back as fast as you can for the seconds we list for you. Every time you get to the right side of the line it counts as one rep.

Quick Feet Forward - 10 Seconds

How To Perform: Start with your feet on the bottom of a line. Keeping your feet together, hop over the line and back as fast as you can for the seconds we list for you. Every time you go over the line (above the line) you count one rep.

Quick Feet Alternate - 10 Seconds

How To Perform: Start with your Left foot alternated over a line. Fire your Right foot forward while bringing your left foot backward and repeat this motion. Every time your right foot goes over the line it counts as one rep.

Wide Outs - 10 Seconds

How To Perform: Start with your feet shoulder-width apart in an athletic stance. Bring both legs outward and then back to the starting position. Repeat for the time listed and count how many times you bring your legs outwards.

Now that you have done the quick feet drills you will now test your 10, 20, and 40-yard times. Make sure to stopwatch the 10 first then reset and then 20, and lastly the 40-yard dash.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A ACTUAL STOPWATCH! Your stopwatch app on your phone is not accurate!
