Winnipeg police execute search warrant in the 1200 block of Selkirk ave

Winnipeg police execute search warrant on Selkirk ave home:

Shortly after 8:00 pm Wednesday evening, Winnipeg police tactical support team and guns and gangs unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1200 block of Selkirk ave.

Tactical support team members surrounded the home armed with long guns. ARV 1 stabbed at the front of the home. Using the ram on the front of the vehicle they pushed down the front door of the home and deployed 2 flashbangs inside the residence.

Using there load speaker they announced they had a search warrant for the residence and told any occupants of exit the home with there hands up and clearly visible.

A total of 4 people were removed from the residence. It’s unknown if any charges are being laid.

Midnight response did reach out to police about the incident and all they said that it was an ongoing investigation.
