1908 Edison Gem Model C Phonograph Plays "He Lost Her In The Subway & More!

Here is my completely original 1908 Edison Gem Model C Phonograph playing "He Lost Her In The Subway" by Ada Jones on a nice Edison 2 minute black wax cylinder. I also decided to play an Edison 4 minute Blue Amberol cylinder "Everybody Two-Step" by Billy Murray. The Edison Gem Model C Phonograph is VERY difficult to find since Edison's National Phonograph Company was under court order to cease selling his phonographs in New York State so the Company made some changes to the design of the Model B phonograph and BRIEFLY released the Model C phonographs in New York State ONLY! Late in 1908 the court removed the order and Edison was allowed to sell the new Model D phonographs and the short lived Edison model C phonographs were quietly replaced with the model D. I hope you enjoy the video!
