Welcome to the legendary Red Lake in Minnesota - a paradise for those looking to brave the elements in order to bag some fish in the heart of winter. This far north in Minnesota, the ice on the lake becomes so thick that you can drive a truck, pull a house and live out on the lake for days. The daylight is short, but the night bite continues. I head out with a bunch of buddies to put a brand new ice shack to the test and see if we can catch some walleye. We head 4 miles into Upper Red Lake, one of the largest bodies of water in Minnesota. Join us as we hunker down for some ice fishing: one of Minnesota's most iconic past times.
