historicaly this combination makes no sense: the bowie knife was popular in America in the 19th century, while the rondel dagger predates it by 500 - 200 years and was used in Europe.
Since we assume that both fighters don't wear an armor, the fighter with the rondel dagger is at a big disadvantage, because he can't cut. And yes, at the end I forgot that i have a knife and started to kick. We were both tired at this point ;)
