Life of Buddha: Seven weeks after the enlightenment

The Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya is a crucial pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Gautam Buddha's followers. After achieving enlightenment, Buddha chose not to deliver any teachings for seven weeks, a period well-documented in numerous manuscripts. Our interview with Geshe Dr. Ngawang Tenphel, a lecturer from CIHTS, aimed to uncover insights into the events that transpired during these seven weeks.

གནས་མཆོག་རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན་དུ་སྟོན་པ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་མཛད་པའི་རྗེས་བདུན་ཕྲག་བདུན་རིང་གི་མཛད་པའི་ངོ་སྤྲོད།

རྒྱ་གར་འཕགས་ཡུལ་གྱི་ནང་པའི་གནས་མཆོག་རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན་ནི་བདག་ཅག་གི་སྟོན་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་མཛད་པ་མཛད་སའི་གནས་རྩ་ཆེན་ཞིག་ཆགས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་དང་། གནས་འདིར་སྟོན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་ནས་ཞག་བདུན་ཕྲག་བདུན་གྱི་རིང་ལ་ཆོས་གང་ཡང་བཀའ་མ་སྩལ་བར་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པར་ནང་པའི་གསུང་རབ་དང་ལོ་རྒྱུས་ཁག་ཏུ་གསལ་ཡོད།
རླུང་འཕྲིན་ཁང་གིས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བདུན་རེར་མཛད་གང་དང་གང་མཛད་ཡོད་སྐོར་ཝཱ་ཎ་དབུས་བོད་ཀྱི་གཙུག་ལག་སློབ་གཉེེར་ཁང་གི་དགེ་ལུགས་རང་གཞུང་སློབ་དཔོན་འབུམ་རམས་པ་ངག་དབང་བསྟན་འཕེལ་ལགས་ཀྱི་ངོ་སྤྲོད་གནང་བ་གསན་གཟིགས་ཡོད་པ་ཞུ།།
