Nissan Leaf Head Unit - CAN Filter Installation - Part 2

Nissan Leaf Head Unit Disassembly. This is the 1st part of two videos, where we will install a CAN bus filter. This Head Unit and the CAN bus filter was brought by our customer. What is it do? I’m not really sure, but as I understand, it prevents the Head Unit, to ask a code for the installation, preventing to use any head unit, what you buy on the eBay. The navigation unit powered on the bench or installed in another vehicle will show the message “SYSTEM IS LOCKED”..
Now, you may can pair it with a special device, I don’t know anything about this. The customer brought me the device to install it, he gave me the picture, so we will do our part.
