Episode 3 of BIY: Brew It Yourself

We start with a homemade blueberry syrup (just four ingredients!), add milk, and finish with a shot of espresso. The result? A drink that feels like a treat!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup blueberries
⁠2 tbsps sugar
⁠3 tbsps water
⁠1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup milk
⁠lots of ice
⁠60ml espresso + 2 tbsps water
⁠1/2 tsp sugar

Process:

Cook the blueberries, sugar and water together until the blueberries soften
⁠Mash really well and cook until it thickens up
⁠Strain the mixture and stir with vanilla extract
⁠Brew the coffee - double shot of espresso or combine 1 tbsp instant coffee mixed with 4 tablespoons hot water - optionally at 1/2 tsp sugar
⁠Cool everything down
⁠Add the blueberry syrup to a glass
⁠Add lots of ice
⁠Top it up with the milk
⁠Add the coffee mix
⁠Stir, serve and enjoy!
