The BIGGEST EVENT in the WORLD (that you've never heard of...)

In today's episode of We Are Adventure Riders, we ride from Baghdad to Hillah to meet with the Bablyon Bikers. Little did we realise, we would find ourselves part of the largest gathering of people on the planet!

Arba'een. An annual pilgrimage to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in Karbala and one of the most important events in the islam calendar. An estimated 25 million people come from all over the world to pay their respects to the memory of Imam Hussein. 25 million!!!

The Iraq Bikers take us to the Imam Ali Holy Shrine in Najaf (it would have been far too busy and difficult to reach the centre of the event in Karbala) and we are met with one of the most powerful experiences of our lives.

This is not widely reported in global news but is an event that is unfathomably impressive. Iraq provides EVERYTHING for free, to EVERYONE who visits. It is truly insane.
