PSW vs MSW|Which is the Best Inverter Type For Solar System|How to Choose Inverter for Your Solar Power System|OUPES Beginner’s Guide 9

Different types of inverters output different sine waves, or output voltages, and are suitable for different usage scenarios.

In this video, we are going to discuss the differences between MSW(Modified Sine Wave) and PSW(Pure Sine Wave) inverter.

MSW, or Modified Sine Wave inverter is an affordable and adaptable option. It's able to operate with most electronic devices, except for some sensitive appliances. It may cause some devices to simply not work, create electrical noise, also overheat and can cause failure in sensitive electronic devices, but it is a smart and affordable choice if you only need a temporary power solution while tailgating camping on a road trip just to power your laptop.

PSW, or Pure Sine Wave inverter, is the cleanest and best type of sine wave due to its smooth oscillation waveform. It keeps all electronic devices running smoothly, cleanly and efficiently, especially if you need to power sensitive electronics.
