Beginner tips for Iron Age Finnish tablet weaving

I have spent the last six months or so doing lots of tablet weaving. YouTube and books by Maikki Karisto and Mervi Pasanen have been a great help. Here I discuss my learning journey, try to share tips, and talk about things that first felt difficult for me to understand as a beginner. How to set out your weaving space, how to read the pattern, and how to hold the tablets so that manipulating individual tablets is easy.
