Attakathi movie was a revelation when it released in 2012. It pioneered the change in tamil film scene, for short film makers and independent musicians to gain spotlight, notable among them being Pa Ranjith Attakathi Dinesh Ganabala Pradeep Kumar and of course the beloved music director Santhosh Narayanan. I love the movie for the fact that most of them were debutantes and love the musicality of the album even more. This particular breezy number Aasai Or Pulveli has always been one of my top favourites. I have attempted some jazzscatting improv a bit, inspired by the fabulous Susha Raja. Please do check it out.
