Design of Stability Systems for Light Steel Framing (FULL Webinar)

This webinar gives an overview of the design for stability of light steel framed buildings, which is the subject of SCI publication P437 (https://portal.steel-sci.com/shop.htm.... Light steel framing can be used for the construction of buildings over 10 storeys with vertical stability provided by X-braced wall panels, integral bracing or diaphragm action of sheathing boards. The design for stability of these buildings is presented to the EN standards and considers horizontal loading, including Equivalent Horizontal Forces (EHF), structural analysis of stability systems, and proposed test regimes.
