Wario Land 4 Parallel World- Entry Passage Score Run (17330 + 1 Boss)

Well, I've got a lot to say here this time!

Welcome to Wario Land 4: Parallel Worlds. It's a fan hack of Wario Land 4 by beco, and it's the first of its kind. It's also far from perfect, but still plenty fun enough to make videos on it!

Specifically, this is a high-score run on Hard Mode. The concept should be self-explanatory, Hard Mode is the best balance of tricky but not tedious, and we need to address the bar that climbs to 8/8. If it's full and I'm not at max health, it empties itself and gives me a heart. If it's full and I DO have max health, it stays full, and gives me 100 extra points for every enemy I defeat until it's able to heal me. To oversimplify matters: a max score run is a no damage run, with very rare exceptions.

Even this first level throws a few wrenches at players aiming for any type of high-level play. They're innocuous enough to a normal player, but the enemies I need to spare at 3:12 and the coin I need to absolutely sprint for at 4:56 are there specifically to make maximizing your score a true challenge. Moments like these crop up too often to be pure coincidence, and are what tell me genuine thought and care went into this hack's creation. If you're going for truly high-level play, it can and will (and should!) demand arcane mastery over the game's physics.
