Out of all the mashups I’ve created for this channel, this one seems very natural. I often make these mashups based on character dynamics that I like, such as Edward & James, or Salty & Mavis. Thomas and Percy are one of the most common character pairings in all of Thomas & Friends, so I thought it’d be nice to remix them together. I think especially starting in Season 3, Britt Allcroft made a clear attempt to feature these guys together as much as possible, and that has carried on throughout the series.

Only problem is, both Thomas and Percy’s themes are quite complex, so meshing them together wasn’t as easy as I expected. I used many instruments common in seasons 3-7, such as the flute, harp, oboe, and bassoon. I hope that this mashup does these two characters justice. As always, enjoy!
