Authentic German Food in San Jose, CA (Ludwig's German Table)

On this episode Sam and Serg visit Ludwig's German Table for a fresh German dining experience set within the historic Germania Hall in downtown San Jose.

The guys try an amazing assortment of German beers and classic dishes like the Jägerschnitzel, a breaded and sautéed porkloin or chicken breast, mushroom sauce, with lingonberry jam. They also try the Currywurst & Pommes, a grilled dittmer’s pork sausage with homemade curry sauce and fries. A real treat was the Schweinshaxe, or roasted German pork knuckle. For Dessert, we were treated to Apfelstrudel, a pastry filled with apples, raisins, almonds and brandy.

The interior of the original bar has been transformed into a modern day setting with small reminders of traditional Germany. All seating is communal to encourage conversation and to build a memorable experience. Don't forget to grab a beer in Ludwig's awesome Biergarten!
