Digital Transformation Challenges & Transformational Leadership:Case Study of DEOCA group in Vietnam

This study examines transformational leadership and organizational change in promoting digital transformation. It argues for the effectiveness of transformational leadership over transactional leadership in this context, which has been overlooked in previous studies. Using the DEOCA Group as a case study, it identifies the pressure digital transformation puts on leaders and managers, emphasizing the need for collaboration and creativity skills. The study recommends cultural change and transformational leadership at all managerial levels, with modified recruitment, promotion, and training policies. Valuable insights and recommendations are provided for other leading companies in Vietnam facing similar challenges in organizational culture and leadership during digital transformation.
