Longsword Winding drill

Описание к видео Longsword Winding drill

This is Our basic Longsword Winding drill based on Joachim Meyer description, that You can use winden, auswinden and durchwinden to counter each other.
In this particular drill We start from Oberhau countered by zwerhau ***.
Then zwerhau is countered by schielhau
Schielhau is countered by krumphau.
Krymphau is countered by zwerhau and so on... (Krump hau may be performed with other handwork and footwork, but this one we use is safer for hands, and allow to make this drill continous)
In second part we use another Joachim Meyer teaching to reverse the drill, that is, when you are cut by Your oponent with Zwerhau and you conter it by schielhau, he can perform Zwerhau to another site.
You can still counter it by another Schielhau...
This is simpliest version of this drill. In the end we combine it with other techniques acording to changes in distance or pressure.
The first aim of this drill is to learn proper handarbait for winding,
Second aim is to learn feeling when Your oponent is countering Your winding.
Third aim is to learn how to use Your winding in the therms of "Krieg" which we understand as "how to lure Your oponent into false feeling that he has Vor", wich ends in proper "indes" winding.
*** When Im explaining the drill I like to see the handarbait of other fencer, thats why my hands are too low in the Zwerhau Emotikon wink Hope You will understand.
