The Under Armour Project Rock 6 has been a highly asked-about training shoe on my channel for the last two months.

This Project Rock model now in its 6th iteration has received a handful of construction updates compared to its predecessor. The UA Project Rock 5 was a pretty polarizing shoe so the 6th has had a lot of hype.

Out of the box, this shoe was interesting and I tried to go into them completely neutral regarding my initial first impressions.

Despite having a thicker midsole and stiff construction, I thought the UA Project Rock 6 broke in pretty quickly and I think a lot of this has to do with its upper construction.

The new Clone upper is interesting and it's definitely more comfortable, but I'm curious how its long-term durability will fare.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be hard at work putting the UA Project Rock 6 through more tests to build out my FULL review of them.
