ITALERI 1/72 LOCKHEED F-104C STARFIGHTER

The kit was fairly good and nice to build. I’ve decided to build the C version with the inflight refuelling probe instead of the A version. I’ve always liked the South East Asian camo, so I went ahead with the Vietnam War scheme. The decals given was for the USAF 435th Tactical Fighter Squadron with the “Smoke II” nose art.

Decal were good but it was too delicate for my setting solution (Mr Hobby Setter). I found out the hard way when I was setting the “Smoke II” decal on the nose. I ended up discarding the nose art.
