HASEGAWA 1/72 LOCKHEED P-3C ORION “VP-40 FIGHTING MARLINS”

Hi guys,

Sorry the full build video took a while to be uploaded. So much was happening with the pandemic around.

Overall I really enjoyed building this kit. Despite the old moulding and raised panel lines, it’s still a solid kit. The kit was built pretty much out of the box with only some rivet details added on the wings. I chose the USN high vis scheme over the RCAF because of the Fighting Marlins’ awesome tail art. The kit’s fitting was not perfect, but it was still good considering it’s age. Enjoy the video and happy modelling!

Tools : General hobby knife, cheap side cutter, cheap sanding stick, 500/1000/2000 grit sandpaper, Mr Hobby White Putty, cheap anti-static tweezers, Trumpeter Rivet Making Tool, Hasegawa Trytool, Madworks PE Micro Saw, cheap micro electric drill, Mr Mark Setter & Softer, Tamiya Extra Thin Cement(Quick-drying), Revell Contacta Professional, Tamiya masking tapes, cotton swabs, toothpicks
