HANOI STREET FOOD & Long Bien Market at 4:00am

Описание к видео HANOI STREET FOOD & Long Bien Market at 4:00am

Let's dive into the world of Hanoi Street Food with A Chef's Tour. Leading me on this epic street food adventure is Chef Duyen. A local Chef who knows the ins and outs of everything food related in Hanoi.

We kick this food tour off at Long Bien market at 4:00am. While teaching me all about how the local market works and products available, she makes sure I get more than my fill of street food here.

We weren't finished there. Next up was Phúc Xá market. A local market that starts early in the morning and this is where we try the majority of the food that appears in the video. Below you will find a list of all the dishes I tried during this tour at both locations.

I have worked with A Chef's Tour in numerous cities in SE Asia and I can tell you from experience that their tours are unlike anything you will ever experience. The company was founded in Bangkok, and they wanted to build a food tour that would be suitable for a Chef. After extensive travelling they had become bored with same lame food tours that are everywhere. So they designed one that would push your limits and doesn't pander to western palates. Today they host food tours in numerous cities in Asia and have recently moved into South America.

If you ever have an opportunity to try one of their tours, I would highly recommend them. And if you're interested in this Hanoi Street Food tour you can book it here:

Now to the dishes I tried listed by market:

Long Bien Market:
Raw Sugar Cane
Sour plums
thuốc lào - Vietnamese tobacco (ok this isn't a "dish") 😂
Omelette with wild cosmos
xôi thịt kho tàu - carmelized pork with sticky rice and pork sausage

Phúc Xá market:
Bun Cha
Banh Da Cua - Crab noodle soup
Banh Ran - Deep fried rice cakes stuffed with yellow mung beans and coconut glazed in a sweet icing
More sticky rice - Gac Fruit, Sesame seeds and peanut, corn, yellow mung bean, coconut and black mung bean
Banh Mi
Egg coffee
