The Allure of Cateel & Baganga in Davao Oriental - What's it like after 2012 super typhoon Pablo

Описание к видео The Allure of Cateel & Baganga in Davao Oriental - What's it like after 2012 super typhoon Pablo

This is Part 3 of our Davao Oriental coastal road trip adventure and the first in the eastern section of the island of Mindanao, Philippines.

Boston, Cateel, and Baganga--the three northern municipalities of Davao Oriental in the eastern part of the country were the hardest hit by the freak super typhoon, Pablo, in 2012. They have slowly been recovering and are worth a visit.

This road trip was a combination of the regular tourist destinations like the Sunrise Boulevard, recommended spots like the Creamsand Beach, and what's waiting to be more discovered like Amanleya Beach. That made for an adventure to remember. It's also a good template for a travel experience because you get to see what's popular and what are the hidden gems of a place.

Six months after we visited last November, it has been reported in the media that Aliwagwag Falls has now opened again to the public, although this is a little difficult to verify.

Give us a heads up when you plan to visit the Davao region and need a guide or some tips.
