Breaking Black Food Coloring - Comparing Different Formulations with Dip Dyeing Yarn

Описание к видео Breaking Black Food Coloring - Comparing Different Formulations with Dip Dyeing Yarn

In the last couple of years, Wilton changed the formula of their Black food coloring. We know that Wilton's violet breaks into a stunning mix of colors due to the mixture of Red #3 and Blue #1, so what will we see when we compare black food colorings that contain Red #3 vs Red #40? How do different brands compare? Watch me dip dye three different skeins of yarn into three different formulations of black food coloring.

We used KnitPicks Wool of the Andes worsted weight yarn http://shrsl.com/t2w8 (100% wool, 100 g) for each of these dip dyes. (Affiliate Link)
