Documentary series on the Andalusian, Moorish, Sephardic, Gypsy, black and American roots of Flamenco. A spring from which entire generations have drunk, singing to pain and the sacred, in Andalusian and by heart, and the history of the town that guarded it in its songs, toques and dances. Antonio Manuel is the narrator of the series, conversing with experts and artists in his performances as a sound, gestural and visual suture of the story, of the flamenco styles and of history itself. It takes place in historical spaces, mainly the Mosque of Almonaster la Real, in flamenco clubs, Andalusian towns and natural spaces. The series is made up of four 50-minute chapters that give us a first approach to the various origins and influences:

EPISODE 1: The ages of flamenco Dedicated to the sources of Flamenco, its traces, diversities, blends from memory that are still preserved in gestures and singing. El Fandango

EPISODE 2: The flamenco language Dedicated to the words in Flamenco, the memory that is contained in those languages ​​that coexisted in Al Andalus and the evolution of the RAE in flamenco terminology. The tango.

EPISODE 3: Pain and the sacred Dedicated to the gypsy and Moorish mark on Flamenco, a culture born of expulsion, exile, persecution and marginalization. Of those who left and those who stayed. The flamenco mystique. The whine and the duende. The Soleá and the Seguiriya.
EPISODE 4: We the nature of the rebel Dedicated to the role of women in the transmission and custody of flamenco culture. About what the women of Al Ándalus were like, about the possible origins of La Petenera and its mythical and religious character. Nana and Petenera
