On 10/20/2023 the first train used the restored siding track in Taunton, MA to store freight cars from Cotley siding. Mass Coastal MC-4 entered the siding near W. Britannia St. then dropped cars on both ends for temporary storage. Historically there were several tracks here but by the 1970's they were removed and only the single Middleboro Secondary remained. This siding is a partial restoration of one of those tracks for increased freight traffic and to help alleviate pressure on the Middleboro, MA Yard.
