We help build a Nissan Navara Warrior at Premcar

The Nissan Navara Warrior starts life as a Navara N-Trek before it is sent to the Premcar factory on Melbourne’s northern fringe for an overhaul into a more rugged ute to rival the Ford Ranger Raptor. But just what's changed?

At Premcar, it has its suspension replaced with softer Monroe springs and more aggressive Tenneco dampers. Wheels are replaced with unique 17-inch alloys wrapped in Cooper Discoverer AT3 all-terrain tyres. A new steel front bumper is included along with a Hella LED light bar and some bodywork changes are performed.

All of this is done in under half a day at Premcar's facility, where up to 13 Warriors can be built in any one day. To understand exactly what goes on, we walked the line, helping to build a Warrior and check out new, small-scale local Australian car production.
