The Magic of Cuttyhunk

Cuttyhunk Island is a magical place—less than ten miles from the mainland and downtown New Bedford but quiet and quaint, wild and picturesque.

In the summer of 2020, the Buzzards Bay Coalition purchased 68 acres in the first phase of a plan to forever protect two-thirds of Cuttyhunk from development, saving it for conservation and for public access.
