Theory of Mind | False Belief Tasks & Understanding Mental States

In this video, we will be talking about an important concept in the field of developmental psychology: theory of mind. Theory of mind is one's ability to understand other's mental states. This is typically studied using false belief tasks, most commonly the Sally-Anne test, and allows researchers to see if children can think about the character's perspectives.
