Dementia with Lewy Bodies Workshop: Filling the Gaps in Translational and Clinical Research Day 2

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) and National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) sponsored workshop aimed to expand the knowledge base in medical and associated sciences by bringing interdisciplinary researchers together to discuss Filling the Gaps in Translational and Clinical Research of Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB): https://www.nia.nih.gov/research/dn/w....

Workshop sessions on day one covered: personal experience with DLB diagnosis, clinical features of DLB, a data blitz from five early-stage investigators, and neuropathological features of DLB. Day two sessions included: associated biomarkers, clinical trials in DLB, drug development, data and sample existing resources and future needs, and a discussion of gaps and opportunities.
