Fire Rolling With Natural Top Boards... Stick and Rock.

Fire Roll is the easiest form of friction fire that there is. You mostly see me working with it using a 2x4 top board and a table for the bottom board. I wanted to show you 2 natural top boards that are easy to find and work pretty well. I used my baton, but really, any stick from 1 1/2" to about 3" works well. The larger the diameter the better as long as you can still handle it. These were my first attempts ever using a flat rock. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. Once again the rock must be light enough to be handled easily.
