"Lost To Time" (Demon) by Billyg1122, GiggsRH, SH3RIFFO & more | Geometry Dash 1.9

"Lost To Time" is a big megacollab made with only 1.9 objects and features. It features a lot of creators, including both newer ones and some older legends, such as DT Mark and SH3RIFFO. I think they all did a great job of decorating. 1.9 was the update I was most active in both creating and playing, and I can't say I saw many levels look nearly this good back then. Creating has certainly come very far, allowing creators to push the boundaries of older updates. Of course, with a megacollab this long, there is bound to be some inconsistency, but I'd say it stays high enough quality throughout. My personal favorites are the ones that mix colors and use color pulses well (which is impressive with only 4 color channels like in 1.9).

The gameplay is also quite enjoyable, which I'd say I expect from a 1.9 level. Due to the little amount of possibilities in terms of movement and effects, as well as the objects and colors available, the gameplay should always be clearer in a 1.9 level (as opposed to 2.0 and 2.1). That's true here too. The level is easy to sightread, and I'd say the difficulty stays relatively consistent as well. A couple of the parts around the two drops are a bit tougher, but I don't think it's enough to be bad. If any parts were to be harder, that would be where to place them too (due to the increased intensity of the song). With everything in mind, I think this deserves an Epic Medium Demon difficulty. I see the creators calling it an Easy Demon, but the length and aforementioned harder parts gave me enough trouble to warrant a Medium Demon rating.
