High-Speed Sensorless on BLDC with Delta winding [50,000Hrs life-time guaranteed]

This video showcases the SOLO UNO's ability to control in complete #sensorless fashion a high-speed Delta-Wound Brushless DC (#BLDC) motor manufactured by MOOG Inc. This motor is capable of reaching speeds up to 16,000 RPM and delivering over 1 kW of power.

Notably, the control is achieved in a completely sensorless manner, eliminating the need for Hall effect sensors or encoders. Sensorless algorithms offer advantages for applications requiring low cost and long lifespans. Traditional sensors and their associated wiring are often the leading cause of failures in such systems.

We demonstrate the SOLO UNO 45A, a product from SOLO Motor Controllers, effortlessly controlling the speed of this BLDC motor using our user-friendly Motion Terminal software.
