Waterfalls, Wildlife, and Homesteads - Hiking the Stunning Sneed's Creek + Hemmed-in-Hollow Loop

Come along for a hike that has already become one of my favorites in the Buffalo River area near Compton, Arkansas - the eight and a half mile Sneed's Creek and Hemmed-in-Hollow Loop Trail.

Starting at the Compton trailhead, I took the Sneed's Creek Trail southwest for about 4 miles to the Old Buffalo River Trail. Along the way, I was treated to many beautiful waterfalls, cascades, and pools along Sneed's Creek. At the 4 mile mark, I came to the old Henderson homestead and a few old automobiles that gives folks a glimpse into the past of this scenic area.

I set up camp along the Buffalo River that night and had a visitor that was most unexpected. You'll just have to watch the video to see who it was.

The next morning I took the old BRT east just a little bit to a connector trail heading north. That took me to the Hemmed-in-Hollow Trail (already covered on my channel) which I followed to see the falls, another major vista, and the truck at the end of my journey.
