An update on how I'm growing after six months no contact with my narcissistic mother.

It's been such a massive shift to go from having a polyanna view of the world, choosing to only see the good in things so that I can live a happy life (while having a regressive breakdown every other day due to the unmanageable confusion inside that was refusing to stay hidden) to facing, accepting and releasing my subconscious demons despite the heartache that brings and simultaneously laying a foundation of gratitude and joy.

It's been a roller coaster of a year since discovering Adult Children of Alcoholics, and a totally disillusioning and disorienting six months stepping out of the FOG since making the decision to go no contact with my mom. It has been undeniably the most transformative time of my life, and I'm happy to be sharing it with you.

May we spread love and light into the world that far outshines the darkness we've known all too well. We are renewed, and better than we were yesterday every day.
